Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as driving the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

Mission Outreach

Crossroads CC is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom into the world. We are active in supporting:

Haitian Christian Projects

Haitian Christian Projects and the New Life Center Christian Church in Haiti with our money and with our prayers. Each year, small teams from our church travel to Haiti to assist in practical projects and evangelistic outreach. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

The Well at Sunnyside

The Well is an inter-denominational Christian ministry organized to provide relief to our neighbors here in Fayette County. They offer a free store, a free clinic, free laundry services and numerous community meals. Each month, Crossroads joins together to help provide certain items to The Well to lighten their collection efforts.

Fayette County Homeless Shelter

The mission of the Community Action Commission of Fayette County is to combat causes of poverty, expand community services, and implement projects necessary to provide services and further community improvements. Its mission is also to consider the problems concerning youth, adults and senior citizens and deal with the prevention and solving of those problems.

Fayette County Food Pantry

The Fayette County Food Pantry is an ecumenical mission project of the First Presbyterian Church, 214 N. Hinde St., Washington C.H. OH., 43160. The Pantry serves families and individuals in Fayette County who are struggling financially by providing food assistance. The Pantry is a 100% volunteer organization relying on Churches, Service Clubs, Businesses and individual donations for our funding. One hundred percent of all donations are used for the purchase of food.

The Tree of Hope (at Christmastime)

The Tree of Hope provides gifts for some lower income families here in Fayette County. The church comes together and collects items that are donated to these families to provide a memorable Christmas morning for them and their children.

Music & Drama

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Still others get involved in drama. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication.

Marriage Counseling

Marriages can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any marriage. We offer instruction, mentoring, and direction for couples contemplating marriage, couples adjusting to marriage, parenting issues, and individuals dealing with separation or divorce.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Throughout the week, members from our Prayer Ministry team pray for their pastors, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.
